My brother, My friend...you will be missed so very, very much. Your infectious smile, your sense of humor, your generosity, and your big heart defined your character, who you truly are. I will be saddened daily you are not here with us, but You will forever be with me and in my heart.
As it turns out Brother, the many years of putting up with your pranks, I now have fond memories and a closet full of your t-shirts and sweatshirts. I will Love you always !

Ed was a chief mentoring officer chosen by God to lead many men and women into their respective battles. He provided a landscape for people to create, he provided an arc for people to float on and he always thought of new ways to do things. He was an ever-changing agent, a soldier, a lover, a fighter and most of all a blessing to everyone he came into contact with. Ed literally had an impact on everything he was around. He was a deep deep thinker, a compiler, and a wrangler of sorts. There are very few people who've met Ed Hogan and failed to recall him later on; either by his dashing good looks, his infamous voice, the wisdom he shared freely, or by his swagger. I would venture to say his swagger hooked you first, then his voice, then his wisdom. I'll miss you like a fat kid misses cake Ed. Thank you for all that you did and will continue to do for us. I'll see in the next life my friend.

Ed, I can't believe that you are really gone. You had such a larger than life personality. I know that you didn't waste a single day. I am thankful that you found someone as wonderful as Sharon to spend your life with. You will be missed but we will see you again. I was lucky to have known you and you won't be forgotten.

Thank you for providing such love, joy and FUN TIMES to my 'little sister' Sharon and nephew Alec. I will so much miss the playful banter and joking between you and Sharon. I will miss the family times, of which there weren't enough. I will miss the talks about life, business and politics. I will miss the cookouts. I will miss the sound of your voice, the firm handshake & your humor. Thanks for all you did. Glad to have known you.

Ed,
You were a great Boss and Mentor, I value everything I learned from you. But it's the kind heart and willingness to give people second chances and believing in them when they don't believe in themselves that makes everyone love and respect you. What a wonderful angel you will be.
Love and prayers to Sharon and your entire family.

There never was a bigger dreamer than Ed. He had a vision for business that was truly amazing. There are many of us in the Transportation Industry that owe a lot to Ed, he taught us how to be strong, dedicated, and never willing to say we can't do that. He will be truly missed and I will be forever grateful for what he taught me. Rest in peace till the day we meet you on the other side.

Ed, you never waited for life to come to you, you brought life to wherever you went. And no one ever did it with more vigor, playfulness and charm - all at the same time! There is not a strong enough way to say we will miss you. Our prayers and our love go out to you Sharon, to our family, and to all those that were fortunate to ever know Ed. Peace be with you brother.
