Dear Friends,
Today is the dawn of a new day, and new dynamic for our family. My mother has been made anew; completely and eternally healed in body, mind and most importantly, her spirit.
To crack the door of my mother's soul one will find her Bucky, family and her faith. For Mom's send off our mother had both family and friends nearby as well as traveling form North, West and South.
On behalf of Cary, myself, our children, my extended family and, most especially both Betty and John Buckingham, thank you both from the core of our collective hearts, for a most comforting and glorious celebration for Betty Buckingham's Promotion to Glory.
Peace + Grace to All,
Dan

I was so sorry to learn about Betty, one of the most warm and upbeat ladies I've ever known.
The Buckingham family has always held a special place in the hearts of the Malcolm Marshall family. Dad would always grin from ear to ear whenever any of your names were mentioned. And as your Sunday School teachers, Debbie and I have many wonderful memories about the Buckingham toddlers and their parents. Despite the passage of time and, in my case, a move 3000 miles away, our family's love of the Buckinghams is as strong as ever. Even more so at this difficult time.

To my Uncle Bucky and dearest cousins. My brothers and I will dearly miss our "Aunt Betty" and all of the fun and love she brought to our lives. She was forever strong in helping us with our mother during her final years on this earth, and even more so after her passing. God will surely have His hands full with the Sowders girls helping him "run the show". I pray for God's love and peace to be with all of you during this time, and that happy memories replace your grief. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please let me know if you need anything at all. Love to each and every one of you! Your Florida cousins - Rene, George and Wade.... I am assuming you are being blessed with an outpouring of Bill's sentiments, so I won't speak for him - who could!?!?!

We have many fond memories of Mrs. B from many different places, whether hearing about her from Leslie's mom, Pat Ruda, who graduated in her class at Wilson High, or her working with Marty on the Azalea Festival, or her being one of the few people who I was comfortable with calling me "Tommy". She loved her family dearly and was always very sweet to us. She will always have a warm place in our hearts.
To all the Buckinghams, please know that you are in our prayers.
