ELIZABETH KERR Obituary


ELIZABETH CHAPMAN KERR  January 15, 1928 - June 8, 2018  
Of Oakton, VA died surrounded by family in hospice care. She suffered nine years with Alzheimer's disease and died of multiple organ failure. She was the beloved wife of Geddis Keith Kerr and the devoted mother of Debra Kerr and of Keith (Jill) Kerr and grandchildren, Daria, Hannah and Liam Kerr. She was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Winifred Chapman; siblings, George Winifred, and Marjorie and granddaughter, Allison. Her brother, Russ, followed her into eternity on June 10, 2018. She is also survived by sister, Gladys (George) of Hagerstown, MD. She was caring and compassionate and loved by many other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 14 at 1 p.m. in the Oakton United Methodist Church, 2915 Chain Bridge Rd., Oakton, VA, Visitation at 12:30 p.m. in the church. Reception follows.
