Reverend Ellis was the nicest person. He was always positive and helped out as much as he could. He was a joy to know. May he be at rest with God the Father.

Mr. Ellis walked faithfully with God. He showed an island girl in the big city, unconditional love and acceptance. We remained in touch over the years, with Mr. Ellis always lending me a shoulder or an ear, no matter how long it had been. He didn't get to St. Croix, but his spirit will always be with me. It is said that when one takes their last breath on Earth, they take their first breath in Eternity, in Heaven. Mr. Ellis you are home, Rest in Eternal Peace. Tell Ms. Joyce and my Granny, I love them. Maureen, Foo, Eaunte and Ashley, may you find comfort knowing that your Dad walked this life closely and faithfully with God and is being welcomed into Heaven with loving and open arms. I love you, Mr. Ellis, rest in eternal peace.

RIP there are two things that I will always remember about you. I was your flower girl when you married my cousin and you always had a camera to take pictures and capture the moment. I will miss your smile and warm heart. I know God welcomed you with your robe and crown. Wear them proudly.
