I worked with Emily for two years (1989 - 1991) at the Census Bureau. My dad had worked with her husband John at the National Weather Service for many years. Emily loved the Orioles and was a joy to work with and get to know. When I left the Census Bureau, she gave me a religious key which I still have on my keychain to this day. Many prayers to the Tierney family as my deepest sympathy goes out to everyone during this difficult time!
God Bless,
