On Thursday, August 26, 2004, of Alexandria, VA. Wife of the late J. Russell Treger; loving mother of Joan F. (Richard) Wood of Tucson, AZ and Jean A. (John) Lehrer of Fairfax, VA; caring grandmother of Linda J. (Tony) Colucci, Donna J. (Robert) Waiter, Richard A. (Debbie) Wood Jr., all of Arizona, and John R. (Marykate) Lehrer II of Arlington, VA; great-grandmother of Jason Colucci, Brian Colucci, Amanda Wood, Stephen Wood, all of Arizona, and Emily Lehrer and Andrew Lehrer of Arlington, VA. She was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters, her grandson, James Lehrer and her great-grandson, Christopher Waiter. Friends may call at EVERLY-WHEATLEY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 W. Braddock Rd., Alexandria, VA, on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 from 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1427 W. Braddock Rd., Alexandria, VA, on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Fairfax Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Capital Hospice, 9300 Lee Hwy., Suite 500, Fairfax, VA 22031.
