CAMPBELL EVELYN D. CAMPBELL On Thursday, March 6, 2008 of Springfield, VA. Beloved wife of the late Pastor Ed Campbell.Evelyn is also survived by a step-son and a host of nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at JEFFERSON FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5755 Castlewellan Dr., Alexandria, VA ( Just South of the intersection of S. Van Dorn St. and Franconia Rd.) On Wednesday, March 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Mt. Calvary Community Church, 6731 Beulah St., Alexandria, VA on Thursday, March 13 at 11 a.m. Interment Schurtz Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Calvary Community Church.

What a blessing to have known "God's Girl" Evelyn Campbell. She was my spiritual mentor, close friend, confidant, traveling companion (when possible) and the recipient of many ham bones. Evelyn had a love for bean soup and cornbread. She touched my life in so many ways. I thank God that I could be a part of her life!
