The Bekensteins and the Josephs are more than very close friends. We consider one another as family. Growing up just a few houses down the street, we had an open door policy. Holiday dinner was a given. When I met Fern as a young teenager, she had me and my entire family at hello. She was one of the warmest women I´ve ever known. She exuded kindness and compassion, traits that can be difficult to find in this day and age. There was something so special about Fern. On behalf of the entire Joseph family, Sylvia, Eric (Amy, Ryan, Cameron, Casey and Sydney), Michele (Gary), we will miss her immensely. Sending all of the love in our collective hearts, Michele.

So sorry for your loss. Fern was always so love,y and gracious whether chasing us out of the house after we tried to give Mary a popsicle on sideburn to my debutante days and we were reacquainted to catching up with Andy thru life. She loved her kids and her husband and had a killer smile. Know she is up there trying to create peace in our world Claire

I didn´t see Fern often, but whenever I did she couldn´t have been lovelier. A true woman of valor. My deepest sympathies to the entire family. May her memory be a blessing.
