Hi Mom-
Missing you during these exciting times!!! Our lives have been consumed by Madison´s graduation and college search. Well, after a whirlwind 2 months she got offered an appointment to the United States Coast Guard Academy and we now have 2 weeks before she reports! Hard to believe you never got to meet your youngest grandchild- you would have loved her. Kendall is doing great at Frostburg State where she just finished up her Sophomore year which included being named the Mountain East Conference Female Swimmer of the Year!!! Justin starts his career with Montgomery County Fire and Rescue and starts the academy next month. Dina and I are so proud and extremely blessed! Please keep a watchful on them as the leave the nest- Always in our thoughts. We miss you!

Candy, my little sister Terry was your mascot in the Invaders. Your mom tailored our uniforms as we played the bugle, horribly! I was at your wedding. I remember your sisters Taffy and Cookie though they were older we just looked up to you all and your nicknames were magical to us! My sister Terry was also your flower girl at your wedding to Charlie Hooper and we were at the wedding. I remember Charlie wore a military uniform at the wedding. All these wonderful memories came rushing back when I saw a post on the Audubon BON BONS on Facebook. It may have been awhile but it hit my famiky like it was yesterday! So blessed to have known you, the beautiful Drum Majorette that turned out to be so much more in life as a mom, sister and wife! Will add you and Taffy to my Heaven family prayers ! God Bless

What a crazy year! The COVID-19 Pandemic kept us at home for most of it...But it´s coming to an end we have been busy of late. Justin graduated from Howard Community college and is thinking about a career in the fire or police departments. Kendall got a scholarship for swimming to Frostburg State University. Madison his our brainiac, she finished the year in all AP classes with a 4.0 gpa and made the Honors Society. She also stopped swimming year round and took up golf. Dina and I have been busy with the new home... You would love the house. We are going back to Wildwood this Summer so let Aunt Doo Doo know I´ll be seeing Nick and family. Miss more and more with each passing year. Love you

You would be so proud of your grandchildren. Justin is a Senior and was an All County football player this year and is one of the best wrestlers at his weight in the State. Kendall is going to a private catholic school and made the varsity swim team as a Freshman. She won her 1st event in 100 fly! Madison is in 7th grade and will follow her sister to Mount De Sales and swim as well. She was a Young Author winner and took 1st place in the State for a story she wrote. I tell them about you all the time and make you a part of their lives even though you are not physically with us you are always with us spiritually. It's that time of year I miss you most. Never gets easy... miss you more with each passing year.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Dear Mom,
You were my bestfriend. I am so very proud of you. What we saw as bad you made acceptable. Your wit and love carried us through your pain. You truly had a gift. I can't find it acceptable that your gone and I can't say goodbye. You are no longer a phone call away. I think of what you would say. Probably you would say, I'm only a prayer away. That I can accept and plan to pray everyday. Today I pray that you are safe and away from any pain. Enjoy your wings, you always wanted to fly. I hope that heaven is as beautiful as you. I will always miss and love you. I carry the memory of you with the highest respect.

Dear Candy,
To my best friend of almost 17 years, you once gave me a special pillow with a phrase on it and now I want to share that phrase with you again.
To A Very Special Friend
When we first met
I didn't realize the impact
you were to have in my life
But you have been
A tremendous inspiration to me
You have been
A very special friend
And there aren't enough words to convey how much you are thought
of from day to day
I just wanted to let you know
What is in my heart
And how very special you have
always been and will always be.
Candy you will always be in my thoughts. I am so thankful for our 17 years of friendship and I have such wonderful memories of all the special times we had together. I will miss you terribly, but I know you are in a special place with God and I know we will meet again some day. Love BOOP
To Charlie,Rick,Sheri, and the entire family of Candy always know
When someone you love
becomes a memory
the memory becomes
a treasure.
