Rev. Forrest P Reynolds, D.D., age 91 of Rocky Mount, VA and formerly of Annapolis, MD passed away Sunday October 15, 2006. Rev. Reynolds began his ministry in 1940 and retired 50 years later. He was the pastor of numerous churches including The Mother Church of Mothers' Day in Grafton, WV, Riviera Beach Community United Methodist Church, Ryland Epworth United Methodist Church, Pasadena United Methodist Church, and retired from The Silver Spring Memorial United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward S. and Clara Edwina Reynolds; one son, Forrest P. Reynolds, Jr., who died in 2001; five brothers; and five sisters. He is survived by his wife Mary H. Reynolds; grandchildren, Jennifer and Caroline; sister, Jean Scott of Newport News, VA; and 29 nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel, 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Robert Edwards and Rev. DeRoy Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Church of the Brethren Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service, 665 S. Main St., Rocky Mount, VA 24151.
