I met Frances in 2006, when I worked at the Senate Hair Care. She was nice, fun and very appreciative of everything that I did for her hair. She had a beautiful head of hair. She was also very generous! I don't remember when I saw her last. But, I will always remember her laugh and her kindness. I didn't know she passed away until a few days ago. I am saddened to know that she is gone.

I just learned about Frances' death today, 2 years after the fact, and many years after having last seen her. Although I am very saddened to learn of this loss of a high school classmate as I read of her recent life it is obvious that she had a very positive impact on many people, and I am glad to learn that she got to brighten the world during her lifetime.

I only just learned of Fran's death and illness today. I met Fran at Hill & Knowlton back in 1995 and we became fast friends. She hosted a wedding shower for me and my husband and I painted her nursery for Seanna. We lost touch when I moved to Philadelphia, but reconnected in the past two years.

I'm so shocked and sad to learn that she was so gravely ill and passed away.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her fiance and her sweet girls. I cannot imagine how they are coping, but I hope the memories of her warmth and energy bring them smiles and warms their hearts.

I know I will always treasure her. I will remember her laughter; the glow she had when she learned she was pregnant with Seanna... the way she danced at my wedding. She was always so full of joy, optimism and happiness. God bless her.

I will always remember Frances as a friend, a mentor, a guide, a warm, caring and passionate leader who could inspire people to feats of greatness. It has been said that when we look up inot a bright starry night, perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.

Scott, Seanna and Henna - my heartfelt condolences to you.
Although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow,
May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.

I knew Frances through my daughter Alexandra. Henna was her best friend in Appletree II. Even though we have lost touch with each other after Henna went to a different school for Kindergarten. They never left our thoughts. We are so shocked and saddened by Frances' passing. Such a lively and dynamic and warm-hearted person! I cannot imagine the loss that Seanna and Henna and the rest of the family must have felt. May our deepest and sincere condolences reach them.

Frances was truly an inspirational leader who knew how to touch the hearts of those around her.
Her leadership at Sodexo will be remembered- she gave voice to the 'voiceless' and hope to those who were often discouraged by circumstance.
As a single mother of 2 daughters myself, I know that Frances will always be there for Seanna and Henna- her protective presence will be felt by you when you are searching for answers, or trying to find your way in the world.
Scott- I know that you were a rock of love and support when she needed it most and may you find a way to cherish those beautiful memories of life and laughter that you shared with Frances and her family.

Frances will be terribly missed. She touched the lives of so many people -- family, friends, colleagues -- in so many ways. As an informal mentor to her, I am privileged to have been part of her life and got much more than I gave. All who knew her are inspired by her spirit.

At Sodexo, Frances had a amazing impact on the Sodexo community. As ex chair of the Asian network group (PANG), she made a tremendous contribution to all our network groups. She took PANG to a whole new level, empowering people and making them visible. She was concerned about bettering communities wherever she worked.

Frances had a unique ability to impact people in a very powerful and positive way, and to earn friends everywhere she went. She was greatly respected and loved both within Sodexo and in the external community. Frances will be greatly missed, but her charismatic spirit will remain with us forever.

On behalf of Frances' Leadership Montgomery 2007 classmates, I wanted to extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to her family and loved ones. Frances was a vibrant and cherished member of our class. Her energy and optimism were always evident. She cared deeply about others in our class and thoroughly enjoyed the LM experience. In fact, it was because of Frances that I became our class representative. She planted the seed in my ear, and then lobbied for my selection! When she put her mind to something, nothing stood in her way. Her LM family will carry Frances with us always.

Frances and I worked together on the Hill in the office of Rep. Millender-McDonald. We were roomates on the staff trip out to the district office and she talked a lot about her daughters, taught me how to wash my feet in the sink before bedtime (LOL) to feel refreshed, and hooked me up with a ton of Hello Kitty stuff for my daughter. My deepest sympathies are with her family and friends.
