FRANCIS W. SHERMAN
On Tuesday October 9, 2012. The beloved husband of Elizabeth E. Sherman; devoted father of Kathleen A. Hutson, Elizabeth A., Francis W., Patrick F., and the late Mark D. Sherman; brother of Patricia Gilchrist and Barbara Sherman. Also survived by 11 grandchildren. Friends are invited to Frank's Life Celebration on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd. Edgewater, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, October 12, at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 4600 Strathmore Ave., Garrett Park, MD. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the USS Alabama Battleship Foundation, Attn: Bill Tunnell, P.O. Box 36601, Mobile, AL 36601. To Frank's family - Please accept my deepest condolences. Frank was always so kind, considerate and helpful to me at the marina. Deale will not be the same without him. I know he is in a better place and I am sure that Big Bill was there to welcome him to a peaceful existance in Heaven.
