Francis A. Waskowicz (Age 86)

Francis A. Waskowicz, died at his home surrounded by his family in Alexandria, VA on August 25, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Linda, three children, Eric (Sara), Bruce (Mary) and Kristin Woods (Brent), eight grandchildren: Sam (Victoria), Eric, Lauren (KellyNoel), George, John, Francis, Lucy, and Julian and one great-granddaughter, Aurora Hope. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Stoetzer (Ray). Frank graduated from USMA '58 and earned a master's degree at RPI. He served in the Army for over 25 years, retiring as a full colonel. After retirement he began his own company, Mynor Images, working as a graphic illustrator and writer until his death. Devoted to his wife, family, church and his West Point class, he had a generosity of spirit. He will be missed.



A Requiem Eucharist will be celebrated on Saturday, September 17 at 11 a.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, 3601 Russell Rd. in Alexandria. Following inurnment in the church columbarium there will be a reception in the parish hall. Gifts in Frank's memory may be sent to The Grace Legacy Society at the church.
