It was my privilege to work for Secretary Carlucci twice. He was such a gentleman and statesman. Condolences to the family.

Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And of because of special mightiness they are 80 years. May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Frank's passing.
We were friends since 8th grade at Wyoming Seminary in Kingston, PA and we were both 5-day boarders.
Frank would often come home with me to Lake Louise for the weekend and my parents always looked forward to seeing him.
I followed his unbelievable career over the years with great pride for all his accomplishments, and the many honors he received while serving under five different presidents.
I will miss him very much and express my heartfelt sympathy to his loving wife Marcia.

Dear Marcia- I consider Frank to be a special friend for many years, which developed as we partnered on the tennis court, a true love of his, perhaps over 150 times over the last 10 years. He wanted to win, but win or lose, he treated those two imposters both the same , as any true gentleman would.

Dear Marcia,

I just learned today of Franks passing on June 3rd, and I want to express my deepest condolences, and those of my wife Lan as well, for your and your familys loss. I considered Frank a dear friend, and have a great many fond memories of him, on the tennis court (with you and with others), at his and my private lunches, and concerning his great help to me in building a strategic risk assessment approach for national security prioritization (which we call IRAMM). I miss Frank a great deal, and I want you to know how much I cared.

If there is anything I may do to help at this difficult time, please dont hesitate to let me know.

With all best wishes,

Jim Thomason

Frank Carlucci was my boss when he served as President Reagan's National Security Advisor. He taught me about the importance of rigor. "This is the last stop before the Oval Office," he would admonish, "we have to get it right." And we often did. He was pleasant, humorous, accomplished. May he rest in peace. My deep condolences and prayers for Frank and his family.

My late husband Thomas l Downey and I had the honor of knowing Frank and Marcia in Portugal.
Tom was a young Marine with the awesome task of Marine secure guard for the embassy.
We quickly became a family in very difficult times. Franks dedication to the important mission at hand inspired many young Marines. My family knows all the good times we shared. Casino nights, dinners and movie nights.
Heavens gates welcomed a wonderful person, father and husband.
