Frederick Good

Dave was born in Roanoke, Virginia on September 22,1936 to parents Levi and Frances (Goode) Good and passed away October 28, 2024. The family moved to Arlington, Virginia in the early 1940's and Dave remembered seeing as a young boy jeeps and planes and soldiers preparing for active duty in World War II. He graduated from Washington-Lee High School In Arlington in 1954. His first job was as a typist in a Washington, DC bank. He went to night school at the American Institute of Banking and completed the Dale Carnegie Leadership Training Course. He later completed the Maryland Banker's Association Graduate School of Banking at the University of Maryland. He managed branches for his bank in Maryland and trained other managers. He became a regional Vice President and then supervised multiple teams within his bank to facilitate mergers with other banks. Dave would say that he was very fortunate to have had parents who supported and trusted him as well as inspiring mentors and gifted coworkers. He is survived by his wife, Bonita, his stepson David, his nephew Chris and his wife Jane. And his nephew John. His brother Richard and sister Susan predeceased him. Services Private. Guestbook at
