Fred was not only a good friend, he was the closest thing to a brother I've ever had. His wit, humor, and positive outlook in life will always be missed. He was one of the few people who made me feel welcome in school and extended a hand of friendship when I didn't know if I'd let anyone come into my life.
I've known Fred since my junior days in Robinson Secondary and we reconnected years later via Facebook and I even visited him in FL just to see what kind of man he had become. To my delight, he was still the witty and sharp dude I knew from Robinson and he introduced me to amazing food which I still like. He taught me what it means to be a foodie and an adventurer. We've kept in touch over the years but I didn't knew he passed so early in 2023. I found out in November, wondering why he didn't pass messages and texts for a long time. It pains my heart knowing he was gone so soon and he had so much to offer in this world.
Meinen Bruder, rest well. See you at the golden gates in Valhalla and have our fill of beer, mead, and wine.

I've been an online acquaintance of Frederick for a number of years; we were both fans of a streamer 6-7 years ago and remained following each other online. We interacted occasionally and he was always very kind. It dawned on me that I hadn't seen him post lately, and I just today found his name and discovered his passing. I'm so sorry and saddened - I will miss him. I'm glad he's at peace, at least. My condolences to his loved ones.

Fred was the person I could talk to no matter what. He always had a smile and a way of making things better. Thank you for being one of the sweetest and most interesting men I've ever met.

Fred was one of my very close friends during my last couple of years and especially senior year in high school. For that I am forever grateful for the time we spent together. I remember how much of a caring, compassionate, understanding, and fun person he was to be around. Even though we lost touch after high school and into our later years I still treasured and looked back fondly on our memories together. Just being able to spend that time with him was the highlight of that chapter in life. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. I hope that he is able to rest easily and peacefully.

While I only knew Fred for a few months he will always be remembered for his up-beat, positive, friendly demeanor. So sorry that I didn't get the opportunity to build a friendship with Fred.

Fred was such a wonderful friend to me. We became really good friends while he worked here at the Caribou in Thomson Reuters. His laugh and humor was so infectious and you couldn't help but smile and roll your eyes at his dumb dad jokes. We had a lot of fun adventures together and so many wonderful conversations about poetry and music. He will truly be missed.
