GEORGE THOMAS DANIELLO
George Thomas Daniello, age 70, of Silver Spring, MD passed February 18, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Maureen; daughter, Lisa; sons, Michael and Anthony and four grandchildren, Dominic, Addison, Ashton, and Evelyn. George was a mechanical engineer and worked at the Naval Surface Weapons Center in White Oak and the Washington Navy Yard in DC for over 33 years. Visitation February 26, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home in Silver Spring. Services 11 a.m., February 27 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

My thoughts and prayers are with the Daniello Family. I met George at Doris Johnson's house on Ridgehurst Road in the 7th Grade. So much fun and so many laughs! So glad I got to see him again at our 50th Reunion. We lost a GREAT classmate.

Yes, one of the brightest lights in my life has dimmed: from elementary to senior, church and scouts and our own special interests in science and math, George was unique, a good man and beloved--what more can you say? I, among many, will miss him forever.
