GIOVANNI S. LUCENTE "John"
On Sunday, August 28, 2016. The beloved husband of Josephine Lucente; devoted father of Donna (Dave) Surber, Karen (John) Minzer, Lori (Wes Silver), Maria, Frank (Angee) and Lucretia (Mike Rupp) Lucente; brother of Frank Lucente, Jr. and Angela Ferguson. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends are invited to celebrate John''s life from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 1 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 2 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD. Interment will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105. Online condolences may be left at:www.KalasFuneralHomes.com
