Gladys Kidwell Obituary
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband Wallace W. Kidwell and brother Leonard Rice. She is survived by her son Whit Kidwell, her daughter Deborah Werner, granddaughter Susan Ditmore, grandson Colin Kidwell, and grandson Cameron Kidwell.
A celebration of life will be held at the Village of Rockville at a later date to be announced. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Judes Childre's Research Hospital or the World Wildlife Fund. Further details may be found at the Robert A. When Gladys moved, my neighborhood walks were not the same. We always talked and joked that we were both from the same mold. I just heard of her passing, and came home and mowed the lawn. She was on my mind while I did it, with pictures of her mowing up until she moved. I will always remember her as a model for aging with zest, grace, good humor, good conversation and a never-ending interest in life. My condolences to her family. Gladys will forever be a memory blessing for us all.
