Gloria Taglieri Obituary
Gloria married her high school sweetheart, James J. Taglieri, in 1945 at the end of WWII. They remained married until his death in 2007.
In 2005 James and Gloria moved to Leisure World in Silver Spring, MD. She made many friends, was very active in that community, and thoroughly enjoyed her time there.
She is survived by her son, James W. Taglieri; her grandchildren, Matthew, Stephen, and Michael Taglieri; and her sister, Claire Rush. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Taglieri.
Family will receive friends at PUMPHREY'S COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 300 W. Montgomery Ave., Rockville, MD on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 4 to 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Chapel of St. Ignatius at Holy Trinity Church, 3513 N Street NW, Washington, DC on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 10:30 a.m.
Interment at Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
