GREG AMBROSE OWINO 1946 - 2011
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Greg Ambrose Owino, formerly of UNICEF Country Office Nairobi, Kenya which occurred in Woodbridge, Virginia on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 10:30 p.m. He was the son of the late Ambrose Arek Oluoch and the late mama Emily Akoth Oluoch of North Ugenya, Kagonya Village in Siaya District; beloved husband of Priscah Akinyi Owino of USAID/US Embassy; father of Clara Owino (U.S.A.), Kenneth Omondi Owino (Australia), Liyah Owino (U.S.A.) and Gerald Owino of Instant Grass (k); grandfather of Sean Kamande, Gregory Mukunya and Gabriel Oluoch. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 9, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at McGuire Funeral Home, 7400 Georgia Avenue, NW. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 2 p.m. at All Saints Church, 14851 Gideon Drive, Woodbridge, Virginia."Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves.
