HELEN S. CARR (Age 95)
Helen S. Carr of Springfield, Virginia on February 1, 2018 at the Greenspring Retirement Community, Springfield, Virginia. Beloved wife of the late Alton L. Carr; devoted mother of son, Jeffrey S. Carr and daughter, Rebecca L. Pyle. Helen was the daughter of Lottie and Edward Sirbaugh. She is survived by two grandchildren, Rhiannon Criscuolo and Ryan Carr and a great-grandchild, Penelope Criscuolo. She was predeceased her sister, Marcella Kee. Friends may call during a viewing at the Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Road, Fairfax, Virginia 22032 on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 5714 Twinbrook Road, Fairfax, Virginia 22032 on Monday February 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Fairfax Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Helen Carr's memory be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA), 322 8th Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, New York, 10001.
