HELEN LUKSENBURG
On Thursday, July 22, 2021, HELEN LUKSENBURG, age 95 of Beachwood, OH formerly of Silver Spring, MD. Born April 4, 1926 in Sosnowies, Poland, Holocaust survivor and beloved wife of the late William Luksenburg, loving mother of Harvey (Lillian) Luksenburg, Stanley (Pamela) Luksenburg and Amy Luksenburg (David) Strachman, dear grandmother of Stephanie (Dean) Sumner, David (Dana) Luksenburg, Joseph Strachman, Yair (Sara Leora) Strachman and Ben Strachman; and great-grandmother of Vivienne Sumner and Hailey Luksenburg.Helen will be remembered as a strong female role model. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021, 11 a.m. at Judean Memorial Gardens Chapel, Olney, MD. Donations in her memory may be made to the Holocaust Museum, 100 Raoul Wallenberg Pl., SW, Washington, DC 20024 or to Jewish Social Service Agency, 200 Wood Hill Rd., Rockville, MD 20850. Shiva will be observed. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 202-541-1001.
