It was always a pleasure to be in Helen's presence when visiting with my mother at The Groves. She never hesitated to shout out a friendly hello, tell it like it is, or sweetly compliment my children. You could always find her wearing a beautiful pastel top, and sporting a perfect hot pink manicure. If you were lucky enough to pass her as she was enjoying the outdoors, she would always send you off with an enthusiastic wave goodbye. I will miss seeing her...

Our dear east coast family,
We have such fond memories of Helen (though not nearly enough). Wish that we could have been with you to celebrate her life, and comfort you in your grief and loss.
One of the many things we loved about Helen was her sense of humor, and the joy she had being with her immediate and extended family.
It has been years (too many) since we've seen most of you, so the attached recent photo on the pier in Oceanside has been included so you can remember what we look like (or in my case, no longer look like - lol).
We had fun at the photoshoot, and imagine Helen would have enjoyed watching as much as we enjoyed clowning.
With much love to you all,
The San Marcos Emmet clan
