HENNING EVALD PEDERSEN  
Henning Evald Pedersen unexpectedly passed away on June 19, 2015 in his sleep. He was born in Naerum, Denmark on August 15, 1944 to Ernst and Ulla Pedersen, the eldest of three children. He attended college in England, and continued in college studying chemistry and biology in California and Maryland. While in England he met his wife Nadean and they married in 1965. He was very musically talented. In earlier years he performed as a jazz pianist in a group in Denmark. He could play anything after he heard it once, and often entertained others by imitating the musical style of Mozart and other composers. He played piano and organ for numerous events through the years. While doing graduate work in anatomy at George Washington University, he worked for a local contractor and found that he liked the creative challenges of building and remodeling. Eventually he started his own business, working on many projects for homeowners as well as for commercial entities in the Washington area. Although he and his wife were divorced, they remained close friends and stayed in frequent contact over the years. His work brought him into contact with people from all walks of life. He never met a stranger and was a loyal friend to everyone he knew including his many customers. He was a most cheerful and positive person, had a wonderful sense of humor, and was always ready to lend a helping hand. His former wife, his brother Egon and his many friends deeply mourn his untimely passing. A memorial service will be held on September 19, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Living Faith Lutheran Church, 1601 Viers Mill Rd., Rockville, MD 20851. Henning was very fond of animals and especially cats. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to an animal welfare charity in his name.
