On Friday, May 2, 2003. Beloved husband of Mildred Miller Blakeney; devoted father of Azilee "DeeDee" B. Dickey, Theresa "Shavaun" McLean (James), Opal L. Brown and Danny Lee Myers (Brenda). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Jennie Stokes, Jannie Dawson (Bob) and Marietta B. Rorie; one brother, Arthur D. Blakeney; and a host of other relatives and friends. The late Mr. Blakeney may be viewed at STEWART FUNERAL HOME, 4001 Benning Rd., NE, on Saturday, May 10 from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Rev. Boyce Truesdale officiating. Interment Harmony Memorial Park.
