The Happily Reuniting Couple
Evelyn
July 17, 2011
As my Uncle happily reunites with his beloved wife, Jeanne, let me paraphrase the 1939 poem he wrote for her, "Proposal". "There will be Summer days when all the world will sing... There will be Winter nights...and fireplaces warm. There will be these, and then, when Time goes slipping by...
There will be these again --
A song for you and I
To cling to ever after."
