I am so sad to learn of Dr Glick's passing but his kindness and compassion lives on forever. He was the first Dr to welcome me to Baptist as a newly hired RN in 1987. He was so kind and welcoming. I recall always knowing his patients would do very well under his care. I enjoyed knowing him and working with him . He certainly set the bar high. No one will ever replace him .

I miss Henry so much and think of him often with loving memories. He was Dr Glick to me for many years and then one day he became my friend Henry. For 50 years Henry was my doctor, confidante and friend. No matter where I lived (New York, California or Paris) when it was time for my check up Henry was the only doctor I would see. What a wonderful amazing compassion man. I miss you.

I shadowed Dr. Glick as a shy young woman considering the pre-med route. He was also my doctor and my mother's doctor! He was the most caring and gentle man and always felt like family. When shadowing him, he took the time to describe concepts in such a personable and colorful way, and I still have clear memories of his lessons. He had the best bedside manner, so you couldn't help but feel at home and look forward to his warm presence. He delivered my brother. When I shared the sad news with my mother, she teared up while recalling the time she burst into tears during an appointment due to her recent divorce, and he invited her into his office to offer words of encouragement and empowerment. I only deeply regret not reaching out with an email, letter, or visit like I had intended to do for so long. It makes me happy to see all of these comments, remembering him for his kindness and exceptional personality, just as I do. He is a one-of-a-kind human being and made the world a better place every day!

I was thinking about this wonderful man recently as he was my doctor for over 20 years. He helped me through some trying times, was always willing to listen, never rushed and always a kind word to say. I knew I was in good hands from the first day I met him. I am so very sorry to hear about his passing but know he lived a wonderful life full of service and kindness. May he rest in eternal peace. Thank you, Dr. Glick for taking care of me before, during and after my babies. You will be dearly missed.

I´ve gone through two new Gyn, since Dr. Glick´s passing, and I have yet to find the quality of care that he gave me through the 14 years that we were together. I miss him terribly.

I will never forget my first meeting with Dr. Glick. A friend recommended I see him after I had three recurrent miscarriages. When I was in Dr. Glick´s office, he patiently heard my story, and while I was crying, he gave me a box of tissues. Immediately after, he reached his arms across his desk, asked to hold my hands, gave me the sweetest, warmest smile, and said, "I´m going to get you pregnant." I looked at him, through tears in my eyes....and started laughing.

Sure enough, a few months later, I was pregnant and had my oldest son (2008), another son (2012), and yet another son (2013). His standard of care was unlike anything I had ever received. That type of care is hard to experience these days.

We are so blessed to have had Dr. Glick in our lives. My boys are part of his legacy, and they know it was Dr. Glick who helped me become a mom - a most treasured gift.

Every Father´s Day my husband and I look at our boys and recall Dr. Glick with fondness; we will always have him in our hearts.

I send my sincerest condolences to his wife and beautiful family. I know Dr. Glick rests in peace - I can only imagine all the love and joy he brought to many families throughout his 60 years of practice.

To the family of Dr Henry Glick.. I´m so sorry to hear of his passing. He was my Dr since June `71. I think I was his longest running patient. We got gray hair together and I watched his family grow up on the photos in his office behind him. He delivered my babies and his care was effortless and calming, he was special. When I last saw him, just before he left practice, he told me he delivered a baby that morning and asked, "do you think I´m too old?" I said as long as you can still catch them you´re okay. After so many decades he was like visiting a dear friend and I got a kiss on the cheek at his entering my exam room. I don´t know what made me check for an obit today except he was on my mind and in my heart. All my friends used Dr Glick for their babies there just was no substitute. I will remember him always with love, gratitude and appreciation for my beautiful babies and all his wisdom on everything I thought important that he reassured me "Don´t worry." May he have a sweet peaceful rest. Thank you from my heart.

I´m so sorry to learn this news. Before we moved to Atlanta, Dr. Glick delivered our first son in 1980, now 43 and our second son in 1982, now 41. I had the very best care with Dr. Glick.
I helped him find his piano teacher, Agnis Youngblood, who he studied with. He was such a multi talented doctor. I have great memories of Dr. Glick occasionally bringing his piano music to the office on the day of my appointments and ask me to help him harmonically analyze it. What a privilege. I loved his bedside manner and professionalism as I´m sure all his patients did. His passing is a great loss.

Dr Glick delivered my one and only son on December 12, 2012. I remember him telling me my due date was 12/7/12 and I said , no Dr Glick, I´m going to have him on 12/12/12. He looked at my husband and said "you hear this right? She is asking to be late on her delivery" and we all chuckled.
I was so delighted to see Dr Glick as he was such a gracious, friendly and professional doctor. He always checked up on me even after my visits if I was sick and besides delivering my son, helped me get over regular colds always giving me the best advice. I will miss you dearly Dr Glick. May you rest in peace eternally! God bless you and your family.

I recently learned of Dr. Glick's passing and wanted to reach out to his family. His was such a special person with so much compassion and consideration. I feel blessed to have had him in my life as my doctor and then my employer. If I had known about his burial in Maryland, I would have attended as I live in Virginia. I know he loved his family very much and I am certain this left a huge hole in your heart.

I just want to say that I haven't met any doctor that has the qualities that Dr Glick had. He was so nice, so compassionate, professional, genuine. He really cared for his patients and he had a commitment for excellent service and healing. I met him as a patient in 1980 and he delivered my son in 1987. I was devastated when I was told of his retirement and much more of his passing. It will be difficult to find a Doctor like him. My mother and I were touched by his kindness and love as a beautiful human being while being our doctor. My condolences to his beautiful family that we all know he loved so much. He showed the family photos so proudly.Thank you Dr Glick. Sending you much light.

Omg, I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Dr. Glick was my doctor for many years and I saw him last in April of 2022. I was so sad to hear that he had closed his practice but I didn't know he was ill. He made me feel so great and happy during my pregnancy and always was comforting when I had health issues. He showed a lot of compassion in hearing of my husband's death 2 years ago. I miss him tremendously and still haven't found a doctor to replace him.

I just learned that Dr. Glick passed away. I am so sorry for his family's loss. I first started seeing Dr. Glick in 1989 when I was 23. My last visit was June 2022. He was a witness to my life. He knew of every loss, every stress, every fear, every heartbreak, every joy, every hope! He was always so warm and kind, and I always felt safe with him. I especially loved seeing all the family photos on display in his office, clearly his pride and joy! Please know how much he meant to me and the world!

I was just informed that Henry Glick, M. D. passed away, only four months after receiving his email of retirement.
My heartfelt and sincere condolences to family, friends and associates of Henry Glick, M. D., on the passing of this truly amazing individual. May he Rest In Paradise always!
I was his patient for approximately 40 years, even when I moved to Vero Beach 2.5 years ago, and am overwhelmed with grief in the passing of this genuine, compassionate, kind, considerate, professional, comforting and exceptional human being. I remember every time I left his office after my consult, it was always with him holding my hand, and telling me to call him if I ever needed anything.
When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013, I immediately called Henry and was referred to Dr. Robert DerHagopian, and was told by Henry that I would be in the best of hands with "Dr. D", and I have been since 2014. Without Henry's quick response to and concern with my diagnosis, I don't know what I would have done.
When I received his email of retirement, I responded to him " Although it would be selfish of me to want you to continue to be my OB/GYN ... YOLO and I wish you nothing but the best life has to offer you in retirement. ... I know it's very cliche, but "they don't make them like you anymore!" And they don't!

Every time I look at my 36 year old son, you will be thought of and remembered fondly!

Rest easy, Henry!

Dearest entire Glick family, I am deeply saddened as I just learned Henry passed away. Like so many of his friends and patients, we all want to share our memories with you because no one was finer, more compassionate, caring, and loving than your husband, father, and grandfather. I met Henry when I was only 19 and had just moved to Miami. A girlfriend recommended I call his practice. Henry was my doctor, friend, and confidante for over 50 years. When I moved to Los Angeles or New York City, it didn't matter. When I needed a doctor, I flew to Miami to see Henry. I am in shock writing this message because I kept praying that I would receive a call telling me he was back to work. We always talked about never retiring. He promised me he wouldn't quit because he loved caring for his patients. He delivered my only child Gabriel, 30 years ago this February. It seems like yesterday that he was by my side telling me everything was going to be ok. I don't think there was ever a time that I went to him for a checkup, and he always asked, "I didn't hurt you, did I?" He was the gentlest soul. I loved going into his office after an examination because he had tons and tons of photos of his family, always sharing the latest story of his children and then, later on, his grandchildren. I loved Henry with all my heart, like so many of his friends, I am sure. Sending all of you my heartfelt condolences.

Shawn Morehead MD

December 29, 2022

Dr. Glick delivered me 57 years ago this month. My mother and I never let my birthday go by without sending him roses on that day. He also found my mother's breast cancer early and made it possible for her to get treatment and live a long, healthy life (age 93 now). I never went to another doctor until I moved away from Miami for my residency training after attending University of Miami for medical school.

Dr. Glick was my doctor who brought me into the world, but was also my mentor who showed me the way a true physician should act; provide the best and most excellent care while maintaining a listening ear, ease of communication, a gentle guiding hand, and a humble confidence which made all of his patients feel special, safe, and assured of having the exact treatment needed. He always encouraged me in my medical pursuits, took me out to dinner when I would come back to Miami, and was proud of my own accomplishments as if he were my own dad.

Dr. Glick was the best of the best. There will never be another one like him. If I could be half the doctor he was then I will have succeeded in medicine in all ways. My heart is heavy today as I write this, but I have only the best memories of my mentor, doctor, and friend.
Much love and appreciation, M. Shawn Morehead MD

Dear Frances and Family,
I am so, so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband, father and everyone's favorite OB/GYN. There will never be another one like him. He was a social friend before becoming my doctor some 35+ years ago. I was hesitant about going to him as a patient since he was a friend, but my late husband, Dr. Tom Righetti, insisted he wanted me to go to the best one - and all the other doctors knew he was the best! I am so very happy that Dr. Henry became not only my friend - but my favorite doctor ever. I will miss him so very much!!

Dr. Glick was my Ob/Gyn for over 35 years. He delivered both my children. There is little I can add to the many wonderful comments about this consummate physician and person. Without the slightest doubt, one of the greatest blessings of my life is that I found Dr. Henry Glick fifty-four years ago, that he delivered my two children and that I have been fortunate to have been his patient ever since.
Those fifty-four years include three years when we lived in the Orlando area, thirteen years when we lived in Jacksonville and now nine years of living in Jupiter. Through it all I have always returned to Dr. Glick because he was my doctor and I knew that I would never be able to find an ob/gyn who could begin to compare with him, so I simply returned to Kendall for my check-ups and was happy to do it.
Others have used the words I would choose to describe my doctor: wise, dedicated, professional. We all concentrate on describing the most wonderful person he has always been: warm, compassionate, considerate, respectful, kind, most caring, empathetic, gentle, a good listener, makes one feel safe and well taken care of. Altogether, Dr. Henry Glick was an extraordinary human being, a beautiful person and the most outstanding physician one could ever hope to have. I and all of us who have been his patients are blessed to have been under his care.
I will miss my annual visits with him forever. He was such a very special person and it has been my honor and good fortune to have been his patient and friend. I will miss him forever and remember him always. I send my love to Mrs. Glick and his family. So many of us share in their great loss.

Dr. Glick delivered me 52 years ago. I have been a patient of his for 35 years. My Mother was a patient of his for over 50 years. I never knew how much love and gratitude I could feel for a Dr. of mine. That is because he was not only our Doctor, he was family. There was only one Dr. Glick and no one could ever fill his shoes. When I heard of his passing today, I felt as if I lost a family member. Dr. Glick was very fastidious about the care he provided to his patients. He never left a stone unturned. He pioneered Femwell, South Florida's largest single-specialty group practice. It was evident that being a Physician was his life passion. He was the most caring, empathetic, kindhearted, gentle Dr. I ever knew. Dr. Glick was the true definition of altruism. He gave of himself to care for others throughout his lifetime. He was brilliant. He cared for each and every patient as if he was caring for family. The true definition of a gentleman. He was so proud of his family and his office was adorned with beautiful pictures of his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. When I would ask about a photo you could see his face light up and a twinkle in his eye. He was so proud of his family. His love and pride was practically palpable. He offered an undeniable reality of worth and belonging to every individual he cared for. I never left his office without expressing my gratitude, appreciation, and endearment. If the world was filled with more people such as Dr. Glick, it would truly be a better place. He gave the ultimate gift to so many individuals, the gift of life. There are so many heavy hearts hearing of his passing. Dr. Glick was a wonderful soul and G-d needed an angel. An angel he definitely was. I am so grateful to have been graced by his presence for so many years. He will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace Dr. Glick. You will be forever in our hearts.
Love,

For 36 years Dr. Glick was my one and only OB/Gyn, and for many years my primary Physician as well. He delivered my two daughters who are now 24 and 26. He was the most amazing doctor, always providing the most comprehensive and with care and consistency. He was often like a father figure to me and I loved sitting and talking with him, after my appointment in his office, as he asked about my girls and family, and he shared stories about his adoring wife and their vacations, visiting his children, and the achievements of his grandchildren. He was so proud of all of them. I still have not found a new doctor because no one will ever replace the incredible doctor and person that he was to me. I am filled with sadness as though I have lost a true family member. Sending heartfelt prayers to the family for this huge loss of a truly special man. <3
