KAUFMAN HERBERT S. KAUFMAN On Wednesday, September 29, 2010, HERBERT S. KAUFMAN of Rockville, MD, beloved father of Miles, Beth (Richard Minor) and Haley (Jeff Alpher) Kaufman. Dear brother of Judy Krum; loving grandfather of Alex, Ty, Danie, Payton, Zane, Reese, and Brock; former husband of the late Adrienne Swaine Kaufman. Services will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2010, 3 p.m. at TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 254 Carroll Street, NW, Washington, DC, 202-541-1001. Shiva will be observed at the late residence on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings. Memorial contributions may be made to the Progress Club Foundation, 1610 E. Jefferson St., Rockville, MD 20852.

My deepest condolences go out to all the family. I have been Miles friend for many years. It saddens me to hear about his father. My heart goes out to all of you. Beth, Haley, Alex, Ty God Bless. Miles be strong! Your buddy Ralph from Tucson, AZ.

Would like to say that Herb was the sunshine of my life for the last 12 years . Will be missed deeply.Will keep his memory with me always.
