HYMAN E. BERNSTEIN
On December 25, 2011, HYMAN E. BERNSTEIN of Silver Spring, MD passed away peacefully. Loving husband of the late Gilda Bernstein (nee Klevit); loving brother of Estelle Berman; devoted father of Mark (Kim Buehlman) Bernstein, Beth Barkley (Randy) and Judy Schiltz (Martin); adored grandfather of Michelle Barkley Gotis (Justin), Amy Barkley, Justin Barkley and Eli Bernstein; proud great-grandfather of Julien Gotis and cherished by many nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends. Graveside services will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, December 28, 10 a.m. at King David Memorial Gardens, Falls Church, VA. The family will observe Shiva following services Wednesday through Thursday at the home of Beth and Randy Barkley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Montgomery Hospice, Casey House. Mark, Beth and Judy,
I just learned that your dad had passed away and was so sorry to hear it. During my college years, he was like a second father to me (only better). I loved both your parents and my heart goes out to all of you and your families.
