On Monday, July 29, 2002, JAMES STROUD CLARKSON, LCDR USN (Ret.), graduate of U.S. Naval Academy Class of 1958, retired Executive Vice President CACI. Beloved husband of Patricia R. Clarkson; father of James S. Clarkson III, Jeffrey D. Clarkson, Thomas S. Clarkson and Elizabeth Clarkson Maher. Also survived by two sisters, Margaret Dutton and Elizabeth Warren, and four grandchildren. Friends may call Sunday, August 4, at DEMAINE SPRINGFIELD-ANNANDALE CHAPEL, Backlick and Edsall Rds., Springfield, VA, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held 3 p.m. Friday, September 6, at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 7203 Poplar St., Annandale, VA 22003.
