JAMES DENERY

JAMES STEPHEN DENERY (Age 91)  
Of Fredericksburg, VA passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017 at his home. Mr. Denery was a World War II Navy veteran having served in Japan. He retired from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in 1984. Mr. Denery was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Baker Denery. Survivors include his children Jim Denery (Cindy), Lin Cord (Toby), Mary Denery, Terry Denery (Teri), Eileen Karegeannes (Peter); sister Patricia Denery Sanders; six grandchildren Stephen Cord, Alex Cord, Olivia Karegeannes (Mike), Madison Karegeannes, Sean Denery and Colleen Denery; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 5 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, VA. A Mass of Celebration will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 6 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. at Quantico National Cemetery.
