To the Faison family and friends:
You have my sincere Sympathy.
May your knowledge of GOD and his Wisdom sustain and comfort you.
Mr. Faison and I shared teaching and bowling together for years. His sense of humor, advice and commitment will be missed greatly.
Sincerely,
Mary V. "Ginger" Speight

The world is a sadder place today because God has taken into His bosom our dear cousin Faison. Cousin Faison was the kindest, gentlest person we know and would give the shirt off his back if you needed it. Our memories of him always go back to the many times we visited him and Cousin Ethel in Maryland. Faison loved to watch TV and we would always seem to strike up our conversations right in the Family Room where he was watching TV. He would never say anything but would always suggest that we go in the kitchen and find something good to eat. He knew besides talking, we loved to eat. He always opened his home and his heart to us when we visited. Anything and everything he had, he shared with us. The loss of his physical presence will remain with us always but we know that Aunt Willie Mae, Bill, Sam and the rest of the family are welcoming him into God's kingdom. Our prayers are with our family as we say goodbye to another dear family member.
