Jim was a friend, a great man, a World War Two Veteran from the 101st Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry Division (Yankee). He is a true loss for me because he gave me, from time to time, very interesting information about the combat in East France (Saar), Luxembourg, and also Belgium. Jim is now reunited with the men of his Squad somewhere above the clouds.

I am so lucky to have known you, Uncle Jim. I will always remember sitting with you in your study in Montevideo, always reading. I will miss you.
