James Healy Obituary

James G. Healy of Gaithersburg, MD died January 8, 2025. Born April 20, 1957 in Atlantic City, NJ, Jim spent summers as a young man working the boardwalk pulling taffy, dishwashing, and MC-ing the sea lion show. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1978 and Boston University School of Law in 1981. Jim led a long and wide-ranging career in the legal field, driven by his passions for justice, the law, and helping others. Jim will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his brilliance, wit, determination, love of learning and his appetite (especially for dessert). He was predeceased by parents James J. Healy and Dorothy M. Healy, and by three brothers, John, Peter and Thomas. He is survived by his loving "Hon" (wife) Jane and their three children Jimmy, Maureen (Nathan) and Clare, his granddaughter Una, and brother, Stephen.

Our Deepest Condolences go out to the Healy Family on the loss of Jimmy. He was a kind, calm, and gentle soul. Below is an attached pic of Jimmy with his Uncle Hughie (my husband) in Ireland back in 2002. I just thought I share this beautiful pic with the family. God bless you all.
