On September 5, 2013 of Washington, DC passed peacefully at his residence. Beloved father of James E. Oxford, Jr., grandfather of Stephanie Johnson, grandfather-in-law of Jermaine Johnson, brother and sister-in-law Charles and Donna Gomez and a host of family and friends.On Monday, September 16, 2013, visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service, 11 a.m. at McGuire Funeral Home, 7400 Georgia Avenue, N.W.
