JAMES E. PROCTOR

Entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. He leaves to cherish his memory wife, Dorothy L. Proctor; one son, Daryl Proctor and youngest daughter, Lori Willingham (Derric); brother, Robert Colter; sister, Linda Colter; and devoted cousin, Donald "Billy" Lucas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was expecting one great great grandchild who will be making his/her appearance in September 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, Josephine Colter and Joseph Proctor; oldest daughter Kimberley Proctor-Robinson; sisters, Margaret Jacobs and Shirley Colter, and brother Philip Carter. Mr. Proctor will lie in state at the First Baptist Church of Capitol Heights, 6 Capitol Heights Blvd., Capitol Heights, MD 20743 on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Interment National Harmony Memorial Park.

I will definitely miss my uncle shouting from his window in the morning "you out early girl" when I was actually heading to work . You struggled with health issues for the past 3 years but you always pulled through but something was different this time and God knew best. I'm at peace with your passing but will miss you so much, until we met again,
