I worked with him as an intern during the Aids crisis. Mr. Speight always talked about germs and viruses. How to be safe and germ free. I'm sorry I couldn't say Good bye. Thank you so much. Continue to watch over us.

"Mr. Speight" as I called him for over 30 years of mentorship, of my introduction, involvement, and dedication to health care for DC residents. He was a leader and advocate of health care on both local and federal levels. Mr. Speight was also my friend. God Bless him. God Bless his family

Sincere condolences to the family. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure in your heart and it lives forever. May the wonderful treasures fill your hearts with love and bring you peace, Hosea 13:14.

My condolences go out to Sharon on the passing of her father. I also pray that the Speight family find comfort during the coming days. I am already missing Mr. Speight's presence at the SEWH Prayer Breakfasts.
