Janet was the Light of Life.
To Janet, my dear goddaughter, you were such a beautiful baby, with big curly locks of hair, who knew that I would be one of your hairstylists. I will always remember our talks and the long hours you spent with me in the salon and at home. You left us too soon, we had so much unfinished business to do. Your beauty was always visible. You child of God, you brought so much Joy to us. We’ll miss your smile and beautiful personality. We were really bonding and making up for lost times. I enjoyed our zany emails, our essential conservations. I was so happy you and Kim were best friends, you two were truly one of a kind. We are a phone call away for Jalen, your beautiful son who will carry on your legacy. I’m proud to have had you as my goddaughter. I love you and will miss you. Your godmother, Iris
With Love and blessings to the family. I pray that the Lord will bless and keep you, may the Lord make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you; May the Lord lift up his favour upon you and give you his peace.
Poem: When one of earth's most lovely lights has flickered and gone out, the shadow in your heart is almost more than you can bear. You strive for understanding as you struggle through the days, with undiminished longing for a smile no longer there. Although profoundly changed, the world keeps whirling all around you. In time, you'll find the comfort, tender memories can restore. And someday, past the tears, the light of life will be rekindled with hope and love as radiant and inspiring as before. Day by day, may the light of your memories diminish the shadow of sorrow and bring you peace. Janet was the light of lift! Be encouraged! Love, Iris Day, Janet's godmother

To the Nelson & Hamilton Families:
I went to Forestville HS with Buddah. I couldn't wait to see her smiling face or hear her soft but squeeky unique voice in chorus class. This is definitely a great shock to me. My prayers are with both families during their time of bereavement. She will be missed by many.

To the family of Janet -- When I saw Janet's smiling face at my workplace on Friday December 23rd, I never thought for a moment that would be the last time. May you find comfort in knowing that Janet represented her family well -- you should all be proud. It is times like this that I often forget that the people we love and care for are on loan to us.
