JANET PAPPERT Obituary
JANET S. PAPPERT
Janet S. Pappert, 77, wife of David Pappert, loving mother to Stacy Reazin, Kathryn Shott, Bill Pappert and Wendy Stanislav and doting grandmother to seven grandchildren passed away suddenly on August 18, 2014. Janet was best known for her dedication to her family, her hostess/hospitality panache and her commitment to Duquesne University's Mary Pappert School of Music. She will be greatly missed but leaves behind lots of love, fond memories and smiles. Funeral arrangements will be determined at a later date. Please, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made "In Memory of Janet Pappert" to Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center (LCCC) at Lombardi Office of Development, 3300 Whitehaven St., NW, Suite 4000, Washington, DC 20007.

Our heart is heavy. We at Cesco have lost a friend, a beautiful person who always had grace, elegance, wit, kindness for everyone who met her. We will miss Janet's smile and warmth. Our love to David and the entire family. We cannot even imagine your grief.

I will remember forever how well Janet took care of me when I first arrived at Itel Federal in 1979. That caring made me want to stay at that company forever. We will always remember those great dinners with Janet in all the restaurants of DC. I will make sure my tears don't hit the great wine as I toast Janet.
