Departed this life on March 9, 2020 of Washington, DC. She is survived by her beautiful grandchildren, Salina, Ashle, Kisembe, Brittanie, Nandi, TySean, DeSean and Sauyer; great grandchildren, Owen, De'Asya, Zoe, Mario, Darrius, and Jayvion; and a host of other relatives and friends. There will be a private family service on Monday, April 20, 2020 at Marshall March Funeral Home Chapel, 4308 Suitland Road, Suitland, Maryland 20746. Entombment at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.

Grandma! I will miss you forever, I will miss your voice. In 1987, you adopted me as your African daughter, you gave a place to live, you fed me, you clothed me and my children. Many times, I cried on your shoulders in tough times, you listened as you advised. I thank God, I was around on March 9th to say bye-bye to you in person, I still hear your voice, I will always hear your voice, I will always treasure the moments spent together, I will miss you for ever!!! RIP
