Rhonda,

Those we love never truly leave us...

They live on in so many special ways-- through the friends they cared about, dreams they left behind and in the beauty that they added to our days...

Through the words of wisdom that we still carry with us, in memories that never will be gone and through the LOVE they brought into our lives.

May you find peace, comfort and strength in your cherished memories of Jason.

With Deepest Sympathy,

To the Winfrey family,

I never had the opportunity to meet you all, but I certainly saw pictures when I was in Mr. Winfrey's ninth grade english class at Gaithersburg High School. Mr. Winfrey walked down the halls and always said "Hey Meagan, how's it going?" He remembered names and faces and was definitley my favorite teacher throughout my high school years. He will be greatly missed, my thoughts and prayers are with you. He truly touched my life with his presence. I will miss him but will always remember how much I learned from him

Sincerely

Jason was a unique part of my childhood; when he came over my house to visit my brother Jason was very kind in playing with me. I never forgot that.

To The Winfrey Family,

I know there are not a lot of words to say to make you feel better or to even comfort you. There's one thing that I have in mind, it's something that coach Winfrey always taught me, the message was "Donna, hold your head up high and strive for the best". He always told me "Donna, you win some and you lose some but you gain a whole lot more". To the Winfrey family, I just want you to know that you may feel that you lost a wonderful person, but he's never lost because you know where he is and because of this you will gained the faith and the power to move on. Let God be your crutch.Let

God lead you on that path so that when it's our time we will meet him again. As for now, My memory is a very wonderful memory. I can still hear him screaming my name telling me to "Get back on defense". It's funny when I think of him, it's a wonderful feeling. I know that Coach would want you to move on and he knows that he will never be out of your hearts and minds. After all he's in a better place. As for Coach Winfrey, his clock stopped ticking and his time was up. As for all of us, our clock is still running and we have to make sure that we are living our lives holy, because we will meet again. Coach Winfrey, I never told you but you were the best Coach I ever had. You were the one who helped make me the young woman that I am today and I appreciate that with all my heart. Coach, as for you I will continue to play basketball, after all that's what makes me happy. That will keep your spirit in me and help me to suceed in this hateful world we live in. Coach, I know how much you wanted to master Miles Davis and I know how you wanted to name you first child Miles. For that I will try to master Miles Davis and hopefully I will be as good as you were and share a few melodies with you. My prayers go out to the family and like coach always said " Keep Your Head Up"!

Love always Donna Marie Jackson, his # 1 basketball star!!!!! #32...

To the entire Winfrey family,

Please know that you are not alone in both your grief and your positive memories of Jason. My wife and I send our most sincere sympathies.

I have know Jason since I was eleven years old, since Junior High School, and to consider that he has left this earthly place is hard to fathom.

Jason was a positive force who served as a friend and tangible reminder of my youth through junior high and high school.

J, although we'd lost touch since our graduation in 1987, you and the entire crew were always a positive memory of "home" and foundation of strength as I entered the bigger world we all hoped to conquer. You will truly be missed.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your great loss. I spent many years playing basketball with Jason as kids. It has been many years since he and I last spoke but seeing pictures reminded me of the great times I had with him. He was truly a very genuine person, and he will be missed. God Bless...

We truely never know how long we are here on this Earth. But Jason was a great person to know and did many good things while here. My son had him as a teacher and was one of the student managers on the basketball team. My son always thought highly of Jason. He will be missed deeply but his dedication as a teacher will show and shine as our children grow. Gone from this Earth but not forgotten.

Dear Jason,

Though I only knew you for a short time. You made tremendous and wonderful impact on those that loved you. When Rhonda first told me of you she was so happy. Bria my niece always had wonderful things to say about her new stepdad. My brother Carlos enjoyed the conversations he had with you when he would come to pick up Bria. And the times I met you I knew you were so wonderful for Rhonda and made her very happy. You were truly a blessing to the many hearts you touched while you were here with us. You will be missed, but will will always be a remarkable memory in our hearts forever.

And I pray that we all remember and use what you left us with in a positive way.

Jake, you will surely be missed brother, by everybody whose lives you touched. I know that we didn't remain in touch like we should have, but you were always close to my heart when I told my friends and family of the "good ol' days" growing up. I feel such pain for your family and friends that you left behind, but I'm certain that God will comfort them and give them whatever they need in this time of sorrow and grief, for He wrote in Jeremiah 32:27 "I am the Lord thy God; is there anything too hard for Me?" This is an unfortunate loss for earth, but an incredible gain for heaven. I will continue to pray for the Winfrey family and look forward to greeting you again when I get there.
