Jean was such a lovely lady, and a fine actor. I was privileged to share the stage with her in THE POTTING SHED at the Washington Stage Guild, and enjoyed her wry humor in the dressing room almost as much as our scene together on stage. A class act.

I have such fond and vivid memories of Jean. I played her niece in the Aspen Papers at the Stage Guild and she had such a marvellous wit and was an inspiration to work with. Every night in the dressing room we shared she would look at her jewelry and say "well, now I must put on my character" -It always made me laugh. not that she ever needed to put on any character. Her talent shone without any adornment. I am so glad I had the good fortune to know her. My deep sympathy to all the family.
