For someone I have known all of my life and even if we didn't have the same last name, you still treaded me as if I was your brother. I remember when I preach my very first sermon; the very first person I saw was you on the front row. It's so many things I can say about you, but the most proud one's where all the positive and good things your neighbors had to say about you when I came to help Pop’s at the house. If anything you have left a lasting smile on my face to know, how much respect you had given and received. Also I know how much, the three little lady’s meant to you and now having two of my own, it makes me more focused on how much I need to be there for them and to do as much as I can, while I’m hear on this earth with love, respect and teaching them about life. Now you keep on singing and dancing, because my Bible says that everyday is like Sunday. Until we see each other again and when the good Lord calls us up, you keep resting and may your soul be at peace. Love your Brother Ryan (The Preacher).

J---ROME,
WHEN BARRY BONDS FINALLY HIT THE BIG ONE, I WAS WAITING FOR YOUR CALL, YELLING "DID YOU SEE IT." I'M SURE YOU SAW IT FROM THE BEST SEAT IN THE HOUSE. YOU WERE ALWAYS FAST, BUT YOU SHOULD HAVE NEVER REACHED THE FINISH LINE BEFORE YOUR FATHER. NOW YOU CAN STOP WORRYING, YOUR GIRLS WILL BE FINE. YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK. I WILL MISS YOU, UNTIL I SEE YOU AGAIN. LOVE DAD

To my dear sweet brother, I still can't believe that you are gone, it just doesn't seem real. For now I'll hold on to the memories and all of the old photos that I have of us together. I have pictures of us at Christmas time when I was a baby and you and Denise were probably 14 and 15. I was trying to make you eat a candy cane under the tree...too funny! Denise doesn't care for it because you both had on your Christmas pajamas, but I love it!:) I also have pictures of you and I at my wedding. You were my brother and father that day as you gave me away, wow, how lucky was I? Anyway, I know that this life is only temporary and I know that we will be together again one day. Even though I remind myself of this everyday, I still wish that we could have you back for just a few minutes more. You were a great man, great father and great brother. You will always be in my heart. Rest in peace, until we meet again. I love you!
Your Sister,
Alexis

To my big brother, among your many fine qualities, the lasting lesson I will keep with me is fatherhood. You provided the finest example of devotion to Christina, Martina and Erica. Know that they will be well taken care of.

To the family of Jerome Parham, I extend my deepest condolences for your loss. He worked for the HR Help Desk and my office called upon him numerous times for assistance. He knew his work, and he combined his expertise with one of the friendliest personalities I've seen. It was truly a pleasure to know and work with him.

To the family of Jerome Parham, I would like to extend words to express my sympathy. I had the pleasure of meeting Jerome at Johnenning Baptist Church, now the Temple of Praise in Washington, DC. He was very mannerable and a "family man". Our conversations were all about his children. He loved his family and that was his number one priority. I thank God for allowing me to come in contact with such a man. May you find comfort in the one that comforts and remember that we will see him soon. Just remember that weeping may endure for a night, but joy will come in the morning. Be strong and be encouraged. Jerome has indeed left a legacy to be carried on.

For the past 3 months I worked with Jerome at the USDA; we were waiting to start for the Dept of Justice together. I only knew him for a short time, but I felt very blessed to have known him. I will miss his Jazz in the morning and how he would tell me that I could buy the world for a dollar on E-Bay. How he always talked about his daughters and how he loved Miami and playing pool. I will never forget you my brother.

Jerome had a smile that would light up a building. He was one of the sweetest guys I've encountered on the HR Helpdesk at the Dept. of State. He also had a pleasant spirit and will truly be missed by all. May God continue to give you strength and comfort. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. To the Parham Family (My Surrogate Family):
I will truly miss Jerome, his love for my Sweet Potatoe pies and the silly messages he would leave for me at work. So, from now on, I will have to make a "special" Sweet Potatoe pie just for him. As always, all of you will be in my prayers.

To the Family,
Jerome was a co-worker of mines at the US Department of State. He will be truly missed....
However, life is but a stopping place A pause in what’s to be, A resting place along the road To sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, different paths along the way, we all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay... Our destination is a place far greater than we know. For some, the journey’s quicker, for some the journey’s slow. And when the journey finally ends, We’ll claim a great reward and find an everlasting peace, together with the Lord.
