Jerome Tolson Obituary

TOLSON JEROME F. TOLSON, JR. Foreign Service Officer JEROME FAIRFAX TOLSON, JR., 66 of Spotsylvania County passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, supported by his family and friends. Mr. Tolson was a retired Department of State Foreign Service Officer with 35 years of service. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Diana Tolson; three daughters, Kristin Grasso and her husband Fred, of Oakton, Bridget Sedlock and her husband Michael of Centreville, and Erin Wilhoite and her husband Bret of Denver, CO; three sisters, Barbara Etzel of Springfield, Donna Morris of Bethesda, MD, and Mary Joyner of Waldorf, MD; and seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Katherine, Allyson, Matthew, Victoria, Trey, and Eleanor. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Jerry''s life from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 26 at Covenant Funeral Service in Fredericksburg. A funeral mass will be held at Noon, Wednesday, May 27 at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in Fredericksburg. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
