Jerry Thompson Obituary

THOMPSON, JERRY LEE (Age 48)

Of Boulder, CO, formerly of Gainesville, VA and Ft. Lauderdale, FL on May 17, 2004, peacefully entered into eternal rest. Devoted husband of Pamela Keel; beloved son of Richard L. and Jeannette E. Thompson of Gainesville, VA; loving brother of Diana L. Atkins of Amissville, VA, Deborah J. Gray of Santa Rosa, CA and Raymond F. Thompson of Fairfax, VA. He is also survived by three nieces, six nephews and a host of other family and friends. He was an graduate of Brentsville High School, an accomplished musician, artist and a lover of nature. Services will be private in Boulder. Please make any contributions in his memory to the Darryl Green Foundation, as he was an avid fan of Darryl and other Redskin's players. His presence on this earth will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Though separated by time and distance I have never forgotten any of my cousins...especially Jerry as he had such a love for music like I do. I remember hearing him play and sing. I especially treasure the memory of hearing a tape of Jerry and Uncle Richard; these memories stay with me, though family seems to dwindle, he will forever stay in my thoughts and heart.
