Master Sgt. JOHN F. BAKER, JR.  
A funeral service for Master Sgt. John Franklin Baker Jr., U.S. Army (Ret.), 66, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 16, 2012, at Ft. Myer Memorial Chapel, Arlington National Cemetery. Interment with full military honors will take place in Arlington National Cemetery also. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family in Columbia.Master Sgt. Baker, husband of Mrs. Donnell Brazil Baker, died Friday, January 20, 2012. For his heroic actions during the Vietnam War, he was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor by President Lyndon B. Johnson. In addition, the highly decorated veteran was awarded the Silver Star, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star and the Purple Heart.
