I think of Dr Chamberlain all the time..... I shop right next to where his office was on Westbard. And I remember seeing him at an art exhibit in 2000, when he asked about my children and remembered their names..... pretty impressive considering all the children he treated over the years.

He was my pediatrician. My sister and I were just reminiscing about him as we drove into the Westbard shopping center. He was a lovely man.

Dr Chamberlain was my daughters´ pediatrician starting in 1969 until he retired. First visit was at a practice on Massachusetts Ave, until he moved to Bethesda to Kenwood garden apartments. I go by there frequently and always think of him. I saw him last at Artomatic around 2002 where I was displaying art work, and he still remembered my daughters´ names. Very very fond memories of a wonderful doctor.

John Chamberlain was my first pediatrician. I fondly remember going to his office for checkups, and him walking in with his big grin and stethoscope around his neck. The last time I saw him I was probably around age 11 when i moved to France. He said the pollution would exacerbate my asthma -- instead, it disappeared. He was a great guy. May he rest in peace. Condolences to his family and friends.
