JOHN MANNES Obituary


JOHN B. MANNES (Age 88)  
Passed away April 5, 2017 in Rancho Mirage, CA. He was happily married to Nancy Klein Mannes for 66 years; well-loved by his children, Kathy Mannes (Mark Moskovitz), Mary Ann Sack and John, Jr. (Cheryl); grandchildren, Ben Sack (Laura), Alexandra Moskovitz, Daniel Sack, Jillian Moskovitz, Matthew Sack and John Mannes, III. A graduate of Wilson High School and The Wharton School, he was a pioneer in the promotional incentives industry, transforming his father's gift shop into a specialty advertising and branded merchandise business. He was a founding member of Temple Sinai and a Woodmont Country Club board member for many years. A memorial service in Washington, DC will be planned. Donations may be made to Freer and Sackler Galleries.
