John and I started out at Johnston, Lemon at the same time..in 1956. He and I were close friends back in those days. I always admired John's astute analytical abilities and made money for some clients with some of his investment ideas, especially Stanley Warner. I visited his home near Upper Marlboro with my wife Fran one Sunday, met his family and enjoyed their hospitality. When John left JL & CO, he was kind enough to recommend me and turn over to me several of his clients, including his Aunt. I returned to his home area years later only to find that he had moved. Again, I remember John fondly...he was a good and honorable man, and I will remember him in my prayers. Ed McGehrin

If there is another side, John will be throwing balls for Willy and Bradford and saving us a good court. He was a first-class gentleman and a wonderful friend who will be sorely missed and thought of often.
